Pieces
Everyone in the world functions on some sense of wholeness. This wholeness allows us to graciously give and take. The problem is when we give or take too much of our wholeness to somebody else: we inevitably bleed out, often hurting those we love the most in the process, because no one ever falls in love without getting their hands dirty. In the end hearts break, trust disassembles and we begin to function on what remains: the pieces.
